Family Support Clinician - Full-time / Part-time

Founded in 1997, Florida MENTOR, a partner of The MENTOR Network, offers home and community-based services to adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities and to youth with emotional, behavioral and medically complex challenges as well as their families throughout the Sunshine state. We offer a range of services—including Therapeutic Foster Care and residential living options for adults—including our innovative Host Home program.

Florida MENTOR is seeking a Family Support Clinician to provide psychotherapy to individuals to aid a client or consumer in problems of living with the goal of increasing an individual’s sense of their own well-being. Family Support Clinicians employ a range of techniques based on experiential relationship building, dialogue, communication and behavior change that is designed to improve the mental health of a client or patient, or to improve group relationships (such as in a family).

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in human services field with at least three years of experience
• Must be licensed as required by state
• Other education and experience plus licensure as required by state
