The Bartender’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Efficient operation of the bar as well as the quality and consistency of all drinks prepared
- Serving of alcoholic beverages responsibly as outlined in TIPS training in accordance with the state laws
- Monitoring of alcohol consumption & behavior of bar patrons to ensure responsible alcohol service
- Stopping service as necessary
- Recording all sales on the Point of Sale
- Following company procedures for cash handling, check control, and maintaining proper cash bank accountabilities.
The “must haves” for this position include:
- Minimum 1 year bartending experience
- Excellent people skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work long hours and varied shifts
- Must be at least 21 years old
We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required:
- Point of Sale experience
- Knowledgeable in wine service
- Inventory management skills
