Construction Project Coordinator

Seeking a Project Engineer to join our Project Management Team in the Southeast working out of our Dallas office!

The Project Engineer makes decisions daily which affect many thousands of dollars worth of potential project related profit or loss.

The successful individual in this position is so because he or she has proven themselves to be an effective manager, designer, innovator, scheduler, negotiator, listener, communicator, and leader.

Business Development
- Generate new bidding and job opportunities for the company through the exploitation of pre-existing relationships and/or
upselling value added equipment or process solutions to existing clients during the course of projects

Proposal/Contract Review
- Review and work in conjunction with the Contracts Administration - Department to identify and mitigate inconsistencies and
risks that are embedded in the contractual documents on assigned projects.

Project Execution
- Travel as required to meet the needs of the project
- Facilitate kickoff meetings with the clients that discuss key elements of the project
- Continuously manage and mitigate overall project risk
- Address daily project issues in a timely manner as they arise
- Work with the Swisslog pre-construction manager to successfully bid the installation work out to local mechanical contractors
- Ensure that all Swisslog safety requirements are being followed on jobs and promote a culture that places a high degree of focus on keeping installation personnel safe
