3rd Shift Chemist - Full-time / Part-time

Specialty Chemical company looking for a 3rd Shift - Quality Control Chemist to join its team!

Job Description:

Analyze raw materials, in-process materials, and final products for compliance with requirements.

Essential Requirements:

Providing support in solving process problems and customer complaints

Perform analytical chemistry techniques on samples to ensure product is within specification

Maitenance and calibration of laboratory equipment

Participation in Reproducibility and Repeatability (R & R) studies

Maintaining orderliness of QC laboratory, and washing glassware as needed.

Participates in Company wide effort to promote quality assurance in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & OSHA 18001.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Chemistry or related field preferred

Must have one (1) year experience in a chemical laboratory

Experience with computers and spreadsheet helpful

Familiar with clsasic wet chemical and instrumental techniques

Must have strong verbal and mathematics skills

Must have good organizational skills and be a self-starter
