The Implementation Project Manager serves as a liaison between new clients and Catamaran during the implementation phase. To support the organization’s strategic direction and growth in the PBM industry by applying a clearly defined project management approach to all client implementations.

Primary Responsibilities:


Primary contact for new client projects varying in size, complexity, and duration          

Ability to handle multiple client implementations concurrently 

Provide input on Catamaran capabilities in order to meet client requirements

Develop and maintain the project plan throughout the implementation phase

Set and manage client expectations

Lead and facilitate all project meetings both internally and externally

Obtain and secure all necessary client approvals prior to the project effective

Identify and document any changes to the scope of the project

Deliver on-going communication of project status 

Execute proper escalation of issues when applicable  

Participant in client visits as necessary

Conduct project close-out activity as necessary

Actively participant in lessons learned after the implementation has been completed

Review implementation process to identify opportunities for improvement

No supervision or direct reports – project team members are assigned to each client implementation by their department manager

Attend Finalist Presentation to support the Sales

Perform any additional duties as assigned

Adhere to all Catamaran policies and procedures

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


5+ years of experience in the PBM Industry implementing new clients  

Project Management Training desired but not required  

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Demonstrate application of project management methodology

Experience in creating an effective team;

Ability to build strong working relationships, manage resources, negotiation skills, solve problems and issues, resolve conflicts, and effective communication at all levels of an organization.

Strong presentation skills  

Ability to travel on average 25% - However, the percentage of travel may increase during peak session and depending on the number of new clients received by Catamaran

Must have a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
