The Pharmacy Technician under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, shall assist with routine pharmacy responsibilities. These include, preparing and distributing medications, maintaining inventory, managing automated systems, and maintaining records.

Primary Responsibilities:


Receive and process prescriptions via fax or mail

Accurately read and enter prescription information into the system

Verify complete patient information to input into mailrx system

Extensive knowledge of SDTrack and MailRX

Understanding of all PTRX benefit plans

Ability to input up to 60 prescriptions daily

Performs prescription assembly using the Kirby Lester and SP robots

Ability to dispense 400 orders daily

Maintenance of ScriptPro robots

Accurately enters notes/comments regarding prescriptions

Must be able to sit in an upright position for the duration of shift

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required
1+ year of  Pharmacy Technician experience
Pharm Tech license may be required, in accordance with state requirements where the job is performed; If a license is required, it must be active and good standing
General computer skills including data entry required
Must be able to set priorities and problem solve in daily work
Must be able to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing
Independent thinker (works autonomously). Ability to follow all process and procedures
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a high-performing team
Highly dependable
Open availability
Assets:

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is a plus
