We have an immediate need for a HVAC/ DDC Technician in West Point, NY.

The HVAC / DDC Technician role would be responsible for assisting the US Military Academy (USMA) NORESCO Site Manager in the operations of the installed EMCS to include Preventive Maintenance, Calibration and adjustment; as well as diagnosing and repair to the Energy Management System in support of the Operations & Maintenance team and other NORESCO staff.

Here are the responsibilities for this position:

Interact with the facility and NORESCO maintenance personnel to assist in troubleshooting system problems. Perform/manage DDC system maintenance, as assigned by the project coordinator Daily review DDC system with the O&M site manager to identify building problems and conduct routine adjustment to enhance unit operability and efficiency. Review histories, trends and alarm logs to identify potential problems. Meet with maintenance personnel to discuss operational issues. Verify alarms or out of parameter conditions. Reprogram schedules as needed to support campus activities and energy savings. Maintain daily work tickets of all activities. Respond to calls both evening and weekends as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
