A Center Supervisor for CSL Plasma is responsible for supervising the day to day operations of center staff and operations to ensure efficient plasma collections.

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

In compliance with SOPs, supervises all center operations daily activities. Directly supervises personnel by giving clear and consistent instruction and direction, conducts meetings as necessary, and clearly communicates performance expectations. May occasionally be required to perform tasks in work areas. Advises management of employee relation issues or escalated donor issues. Ensures the center is staffed with adequate number of personnel to provide sufficient support based upon center size, structure and donor flow. Monitors time card procedures, attendance and utilization of overtime. Develops an adequate level of cross training within Center work areas through coordination with training personnel.

Conducts performance appraisals, provides performance feedback, documents corrective actions when needed, provides coaching and training to staff when necessary. Maintains up-to-date employee files with applicable training checklists, evaluations, and certification status. May participate in the recruitment and selection of center operation staff. Interprets, communicates and implements company policies and procedures.

In conjunction with Group Leaders, facilitates movement of donors throughout center minimizing donor wait time and processing. Reviews area records daily, and more frequently as necessary, to assure accuracy and compliance to SOP or other regulations (log books, donor charts, and lab or donor fee sheets). Completes all required supervisory reports and records accurately. Conducts error investigations and develops recommendations for process improvement.

Responsible for changing supply lot numbers in DMS when new lot number is introduced into production. May order soft goods and disposable inventory from vendors. May contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to increase donor retention.

Maintains clean efficient work environment, and ensures sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed. Follows all HSE and OSHA policies and procedures. May conduct routine audits of internal procedures and documentation. Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information. Perform other related center duties, as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates or Bachelor's degree in business administration or biological sciences preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum two years previous supervisory or group leader experience preferably in a health care or medical environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proven ability to effectively communicate instructions and procedures verbally and through demonstration.

Customer service skills and the ability to effectively work with the public.

Proficient in MicroSoft Office software.

Must be able to perform basic math calculations and be proficient in the English language
