About this job
A Custodian for CSL Plasma is responsible for minor maintenance repairs and the clean and orderly appearance of the collection center.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Cleans table, chairs, cabinets, counters and appliances located in the employee break room or donor waiting area. Vacuums carpets, dusts furniture, cleans windows, cleans doors and removes trash on a daily basis. Inspects and cleans restrooms including replacing paper and soap supplies on a daily basis.
Performs minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, painting, minor plumbing and carpentry tasks.
Monitors the grounds and parking lots around the center and picks up litter as required in these areas. Assists in recycling and repackaging of shipping materials.
Physically receives supplies from vendors and moves supplies from storage area to released and quarantined areas.
Follow all Health Safety and Environment SOPs and OSHA policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum three months experience as a custodian preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to read and write and communicate in the English language
Occasionally exposed to freezing temperatures (-30F) while wearing protective equipment.
