Providence is calling a Health Unit Coordinator/ Certified Nursing Assistant to the Recovery Room unit at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA. This is a 1.0 FTE Day Shift Position.
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated nursing assistant to provide secretarial and technical assistance support for the nursing unit.
In this position you will:
Initiate and prioritize the accurate processing and transcription of provider orders.
Assemble and maintain patient charts, current forms and results/reports.
Assess, order, and maintain unit supplies and equipment.
Serve as the hub of all communication for the unit; act as the front-line customer service representative of the unit.
Work under the direction of the charge nurse.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
Current Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) licensure in Washington State
Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association within first two weeks of hire
Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited Health Unit Coordinator training class
Experience as a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) or Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) in an acute care setting
Proficiency with software programs for the maintenance of patient records and communication with team members.
