Assembler

Harris in Rochester, NY is looking for an Mechanical Assembler with experience to perform assembly processing operations on military and non-military products. May perform one or many of the following functions: various levels of intricate hand assembly, encapsulation, soldering, operations under a microscope, potting processing to encapsulate hardware, manual and/or automatic conformal coating. May also operate equipment and test stands associated with circuit card assembly automated wash line, select solder, RTV dispensing, transformer winding, shock and vibration, CNC, Sintering Furnace/Hydrogen Furnace and/or manual/automated test equipment. May clean or trim excess product from circuit boards with alcohol or solvent. Use visual inspection to verify quality of work before releasing to next stage. Follow and adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety practices. Read and work to Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) and Blue Prints. Responsibility for verification of product to the applicable workmanship standards. Perform other duties as required. Required Experience: --3+ years assembly experience

--Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED required.

--Candidates should have High degree of hand-eye coordination, and High degree of manual dexterity.

--Good computer skills, math skills, and organizational skills are needed
