Bartender / Server - Full-time / Part-time

Amanda's Fonda is focused on delighting every guest with a genuine Mexican dining experience. We are proud to serve fresh, simple, delicious Mexican food, complemented by a great margarita, served in a comfortable, home-like Mexican setting where everyone is welcomed as family and friends.

BARTENDER
•Greet customers, give them menus, and inform them about daily specials 
•Take drink orders from customers 
•Pour wine and serve draft and bottled beer and other drinks and beverages 
•Mix drinks according to recipes 
•Check identification of customers, to ensure that they are of legal drinking age 
•Clean bars, tables, and work areas 
•Operate cash registers, collect payments from customers, and return change 
•Manage bar operation and order and maintain liquor and bar supplies 


SERVER
• Greet and establish rapport with guest at the table by making eye contact, introducing self, and 
welcoming them to Amanda's Fonda.
• Take food and drink orders from guest by repeating order and writing it down to ensure it is 
correct.
• Answer guests' questions regarding the food and drinks offered at Amanda's Fonda using 
knowledge of the menu items, food and drink ingredients, etc.
• Serve food and drinks from kitchen or service bar to tables by hand-carrying all glassware and 
plates.
• Refill drinks when one third full to ensure the guests' glass is never empty.
• Comply with all state and federal liquor laws by requesting that guests who appear to be under 
30 years of age present a valid form of ID.
• Clean and maintain side and beverage stations, and floor and table appearance.
• Complete side work including keeping ice bins full, restocking glasses, and keeping plates 
stocked.
• Participate in the upkeep of guest restrooms.
• Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed appearance.
• Maintain a friendly and cooperative manner with customers, team members, and supervisors.

Qualifications Wait Staff:
• High School or GED equivalent.
• Dependable and able to meet schedule requirements (attendance and punctuality).
• Must have 1year experience working in a service environment.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Full and part-time positions with flexible hours available.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
