HERC has an opportunity for a Warehouse Person (Small Tools) based out of our Deer Park, Texas branch.

The purpose of the Warehouse Person position is be responsible for shipping & receiving of small tools, equipment, products and materials from various jobs sites and branches. Warehouse duties include operating a forklift, processing orders, inventory management and ToolHound and Rentalman computer operations. The candidate will make pickups and deliveries of tools when needed. He/she performs at a high standard of quality level within the branch and outside of the branch. He/she has mastered the operating standards of the facility, the region and corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle all physical requirements of the parts department. Ship and receive all parts in an efficient manner. Pick and distribute parts to proper personnel. Expeditiously ship all packages via correct couriers/carriers as per instructions. Re-stock shelves in warehouse. Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices in warehouse. Related duties as necessary for the accomplishment of the position. Diagnose/troubleshoot small tools, light equipment and other rental item Qualified in electrical and pneumatic tool repair Perform repairs required to fix or correct failure Perform routine maintenance and servicing Complete all paper work and record keeping associated with repair Communicate with Supervisor regarding repair priorities and status Perform other duties as assigned

Mandatory Requirements:

Educational Background:

High school diploma and/or GED Professional Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of warehouse operations experience within the last three years Previous practical experience operating gas powered and electric forklifts Prio work experience in a refinery area is preferred Knowledge:

Knowledge and understanding for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Knowledge and understanding of the traffic rules and regulations Map reading knowledge, basic math, reading and writing Must have valid Commercial Driver's License, preferably a Class A with tanker endorsement and a current medical certificate/card Skills:

Ability to secure loads safely Ability to operate large, heavy machinery Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to work multiple shifts Ability to travel Customer service skills Competencies:

Team oriented Good communication Sense of urgency Stress management
