Job Summary Provide support as a physician extender within the NeuroSport Program as a licensed athletic trainer. Deliver patient care services within a team approach in conjunction with physician mid-level providers, physical therapists, athletic trainers and associated personnel in the outpatient setting.
Required Qualifications* Bachelors degree in athletic training or related health field or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary. Must be certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association. Must obtain license by the State of Michigan within two months of hire. Must have current CPR and first aid certification.
Desired Qualifications* Completion of an Athletic Trainer Residency Program. Masters degree in Athletic Training or related health field.
Background Screening University of Michigan Health System conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act.
