We are looking for enthusiastic new team members with a passion for customer service and an interest in healthcare to join the Call Center Team. Customer Service Representatives are responsible for providing an excellent customer service experience over the phone, listening and empathizing with members, helping members and providers navigate the healthcare system and resolving complex inquiries regarding eligibility, benefits and claims. Customer Service Representatives are expected to take ownership of each call, follow-through and resolve each inquiry with a focus on quality interactions and accuracy of information.

Position Purpose: Receive and respond to customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence in a timely and professional manner.

Position Responsibilities:

Receive and respond to all telephone or written correspondence inquiries from members within established timeframes and policies.

Assist members with plan benefits via telephone, in writing, in person or make referral to outreach representative as appropriate.

Document in the computer system all members' issues and resolution.

Utilize current reference materials to assist and resolve any member inquiries.

May coordinate member transportation.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1 years of call center customer service experience, or 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment. Depending on the state, bi-lingual may be preferred.
