Job Summary:

The physical therapist primarily evaluates and treats inpatients with a variety of diagnoses. Evaluations are completed in a timely manner and they integrate patients' diagnoses, functional limitations and social history with patient discharge recommendations and treatment plans. Treatments are designed around the goals indicated within the evaluation, with the intent to maximize patient's functional ability, minimize further impairments and facilitate patient's timely safe discharge.

Skills & Abilities:

1. Effective oral and written communication skills. 2.Independent with problem solving. 3.Adheres to the Guide for Professional Conduct and Code of Ethics of the APTA. 4.Comfortable working independently and in teams.

Training & Education:

Graduation from APTA approved and accredited School of Physical Therapy earning degree: BS, MPT, MSPT or DPT.

Experience:

Minimum new graduate

Required Licenses:

Maintain a current license as a Physical Therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
