About this job
Provide professional medical and surgical services to patients including direct patient care, post operative patients and OR surgical assistance. Ability to communicate in english with patients, families, coworkers physicians and employees required.Graduate of an approved Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program/Physician Assistant Program. National Board of Medical Examiners certified or eligible for certification. Successful completion of Delineation of Privileges. Massachusetts State licensure required as well as NCCPA, DEA/MC and BLS/ACLS Certification. The PICC service at St. Vincent Hospital is seeking per diem coverage by either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to meet the challenges of a growing PICC/IV therapy service line. Prior experience preferred but will consider highly motivated individuals for this fast paced environment.
