Requirements

Primary Purpose:

Management of the day-to-day operations of a Papa John’s restaurant, ensuring product quality, team member development, customer satisfaction, restaurant profitability, and assimilation into the Papa John’s culture.

Essential Duties:

Has primary responsibility for all of the following:

1.      Oversees operations within the restaurant.

2.      Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.

3.      Monitor and facilitates sales and profit performance of the restaurant.

4.      Trains, coaches, and counsels team members; facilitates development of restaurant personnel.

5.      Manages customer complaints to build brand loyalty.

6.      Manages new hires and changes of status for restaurant team members to ensure accurate and timely payroll and record-keeping.

7.      Coordinates all market activities for the restaurant to increase sales.

8.      Maintains professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.

9.      Upholds safety and security standards at all times; uses training to reinforce standards.

10.  Hires, supervises, develops, and when necessary, terminates restaurant team members.

Minimum Work Experience Required:

Successful track record as manager designate or assistant manager for Papa John’s, one year in pizza delivery or restaurant management.

Other Work Requirements:

18 years of age, driver's license with good driving record, proof of insurance, and satisfactory vehicle.

Minimum Education or Formal Training:

High School diploma or GED required; ability to successfully perform all job duties of all positions in the restaurant.

 Working Conditions:

Work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled as emergencies arise.  Able to perform all functions at the restaurant level, including pizza delivery when needed.  Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.  Includes work outdoors in various temperatures.  Also, work with hot, cold, and potentially dangerous equipment and materials as well as work with phones, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
