Overview
To ensure clerical support to physician and staff with designated responsibilities to provide reception, answer phones, schedule appointments, medical records and related activities of the reception area and front desk responsibilities. Maintaining patient confidentiality within the Electronic Medical Records (EPIC) software and adhering to all HIPPA and company guidelines. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Performs receptionist type duties as assigned.
Performs data entry where assigned.
Performs cashier duties as appropriate.
Performs scanning duties where appropriate. With 100% accuracy, loose documentation and other miscellaneous needs are scanned into the patients electronic charts within 24 hours.
Manages medical records as needed.
Participates in organizational professional activities.
Demonstrates knowledge of special needs and behaviors of specific age groups.
Follows appropriate Mercy Physicians of Oklahoma (MPO) and Mercy Hospital policies.
Assists in other areas of the clinic and within the Mercy Physicians of Oklahoma where requested.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Education
Licensure:
Experience: Skills in office operation and medical terminology.
Organizational skills a must.
Certifications:
Other: Computer literate.
Good communication skills.
Good phone etiquette.
Preferred Education:
Preferred Licensure:
Preferred Experience: 1-3 yrs. of clinical/medical office experience.
Preferred Certifications:
Preferred Other:
