About this job

Designs and conducts educational programs for nursing staff. Coordinates orientation programs for new staff members, develops programs to keep existing staff up-to-date, and acts as general resource for nursing personnel. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Will be specifically assisting the Family Birthing Suites Nursing staff.

Will work dayshift with the flexibility to work off shifts and weekends to meet the educational needs of the departments. Requires a bachelor's degree in nursing, certification as a registered nurse (RN), and at least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.

Requires current CPR, ACLS and NRP certifications

Minimum of 3 years experience in the field of maternal/obstetrics services

Related experience in Training/Staff development is preferred.
