Job Type: Full Time Position Summary:

The primary objective of the Materials Management/Inventory Supervisor is to ensure all current policies, procedures, and processes are being followed within the Inventory team and Back End team as well as to supervise the inventory team and daily work flow of the department.

1. Ensure department completes all necessary work by end of day which includes all purchase orders receipts received each day. Must be "received" and in system, in assigned locations. * Run the reports on a weekly basis to ensure all purchase orders have been received on in a timely manner. * Ensure all transactions are accurately completed in all systems by the end of each day such as, Inventory Transfers, Cycle Counts, Wholesale orders, Cancelled orders, Patient Returns, Adap Receipts, Blind Receipts, Recalls, and inventory pulls for overstock, outdated and damaged product.

2. Follow Best Practices for Effective Inventory Management. * Monitor the inventory levels and utilization for all items and make any necessary adjustments to the reorder points as needed. * Weed out slow moving inventory and over stocked items. * Prepare purchase orders for narcotics in accordance to company procedures. * Communication of drug shortages, back orders, discontinued items, and out of stocks to the Pharmacy Managers as needed.

3. Responsible for having a complete knowledge of all purchasing/inventory software and applications as well as be able to administer training in these software applications. * Prepare and generate daily, weekly, and monthly transaction registers in order to effectively audit any transactions that occur in the system. * Run productivity reports in order to measure daily receipts, putaways, and average time per receipt and put away. * Assist Finance in finding any system related errors or discrepancies that may have had a direct affect on the General Ledger or Gross Margin.

4. Provide individual and department training, coaching, counseling, and motivation. * Hold regular meetings to encourage suggestions for process improvements and to provide necessary information and any process or procedure changes. * Work with management to motivate staff by providing an enjoyable working environment that encourages teamwork with excellent internal and external customer service. * Counsel and administer disciplinary action in accordance to department and Human Resource policies and procedures when necessary. * Complete annual written reviews on individuals and provide ongoing performance updates throughout the year. * As this outline does not encompass all duties and expectations of a supervisor role, the supervisor must be flexible to lead and coordinate other duties as assigned and identified by management.

Hours: Monday-Friday 12pm- 9pm; Rotating Weekends: Saturday/Sunday- 8am-6:30pm;

Required Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be detail oriented. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Preferred Qualifications:

One year prior experience in purchasing / inventory control in a healthcare or pharmacy environment. Two years of supervisory experience with direct reports. Experience with multi system environment a must (inventory, payroll, scheduling, ordering, windows based systems, etc.) Pharmacy Technician certification a plus. Education:

Level of knowledge equivalent to that obtained through the completion of an associates degree. Business Overview:
