OVERVIEW:
Working as Part-Time Maintenance, you will perform a wide variety of duties related to the maintenance and repair of our facilities, equipment and fixtures. This is an entry-level position based out of our distribution center located in Jessup, PA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Performing preventative maintenance on conveyors, motors, and gears
o Responding to general verbal or written requests to perform duties both inside and outside the building with little or no supervision
o Troubleshooting malfunctions to hydraulic and electric machinery, such as conveyors, forklifts and other types of mechanical equipment
o Performing a variety of tasks involving dexterity, mobility, use of hands and tools
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o 18 years of age or over
o A valid driver's license and the ability to meet our driving record requirements
o Ability to be frequently bending/reaching/stooping as well as constantly walking/standing/climbing
o Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
o Ability to work independently and in a team environment
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
o Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
o Strong problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
o Highly motivated and self-directed
o Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
o Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule
o Ability to lift 70 lbs consistently
o Ability to pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Previous maintenance experience
o Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
