Qualifications:

  • Ability and desire to move swiftly through dining areas and kitchen with out endangering self, guest, or other employees.
  • Ability and desire to withstand prolonged periods of standing
  • Position requires bending, reaching twisting and lifting trays, garbage and linen (weighing up to 50 lbs.)
  • Ability and desire to maintain a positive and friendly demeanor at all times
  • Ability to work required schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be self-motivated.

Position Summary: Sets and cleans dining room tables before, during and after meal service.  Over the course of the shift you will be called upon to perform many duties utilized to set and reset tables, serve the guests.  At the end of the shift, all areas for which you are responsible are to be maintained.

Job Duties:

Serves as a positive role model by:

Performs job tasks such as:

  • Assists servers in their tasks
  • Serves water as guests are seated, refills water during the dining experience
  • Assists in carrying food trays to tables
  • Removes soiled dishes from table; brings to dish washing area
  • Removes soiled linen and replaces with clean linen
  • Sets tables with silverware, glassware and clean linen
  • Cleans the floors in the dining room
  • Stocks server’s station with supplies as instructed by supervisors or trainers
  • Collects trash from dining room, service areas and other specified places after each serving period
  • Dusts or clean chairs before and after meals
  • Stock and replenishes base plates, B & B plates, cups, glasses, keeping ice bins and buckets filled
  • Ensures tables are promptly bussed and reset as soon as members leave, works closely with servers, hosts/hostesses and managers and insures that tables are ready in response to their instructions
  • Help fellow bussers with their tables/duties as needed to insure tables are ready to meet guest volume
  • Leave work area only when side-work has been checked and approved by supervisor
  • Any additional tasks as seen fit by supervisors and management

Requirements

Must be available to work nights, holidays and weekends.
