Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Manager to come join their dynamic team at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, a part of St. Peters Health Partners in Albany, NY. Founded in 1928, Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, located in upstate New York, is a 115-bed hospital speacializing in physical rehabilitation with 260,000 cleanable square feet. The manager will lead a team of 17 employees on Day Shift (7:30am start) at this account. Position requires housekeeping technical experience; cleaning, floor care, as well as proven supervisory experience. An understanding and commitment to excellent customer service and a willingness to lead by example are required. Experience in healthcare is a plus; knowledge of working in a hospitality or hotels setting is also favorable. The successful candidate should also have a strong background in carpet care.
A strong leader will know housekeeping procedures and programs: TRAKKAR, bed tracking, SHINE, CARES, FOSS, XENEX are highly preferred. Demonstrated leadership skills specifically change management, team building and effective communication, both verbal and written are required. This individual must have good knowledge of housekeeping and a proven record to drive HCAHPS results to a high level and understand ENGAGE patient satisfaction process. Overall, will need to motivate hourly staff and maintain cleaning quality to a very high level. Driving client engagement and patient/employee satisfaction is essential for the success of this role.
