POSITION SUMMARY:

The warehouse driver supports the warehouse operations both on and off the airport site. Our warehouse driver must have the ability to process shipping and receiving functions, drive and unload trucks, pull, pack, delivery stock orders and provide maintenance activities for the shops. Our associates must have the ability to communicate and partners with store management, vendors and airport staff to ensure proper compliance to rules and regulations for deliveries and movement of merchandise throughout the location. Must possess the ability to learn job responsibilities, such as good knowledge of the warehouse layout the various types of inventory processed and the merchandise departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Driving to and from job sites as needed to deliver/pickup merchandise, materials and fixtures (in applicable locations)

Receiving and checking in of all deliveries

Proper processing of paperwork under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager

Accurate pulling of all merchandise and supplies ordered by the shops; timely delivery and stocking of shelves where and when necessary

Assistance in re-ordering of general convenience category merchandise as outlined by the location manager (in applicable locations)

Maintain the highest standards of support to the selling and customer service effort in the stores

Supporting the location compliance guidelines of safety and inventory management to ensure that all warehouse procedures are met in accordance to company standards

Maintaining tools, equipment and vehicle in excellent conditions and reporting of all maintenance issues to the manager promptly (in applicable locations)

Other duties as necessary to help meet business goals

Required Skills

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to drive a 20 foot box truck

Must have strong customer service and effective communication skills

Work with a consistent sense of urgency

Able to prioritize and handle several projects at once

Must be a self-starter and ability to work with minimal instruction

Able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations

Accurate with attention to detail

Required Experience

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or GED

Ability to work any schedule - morning, evening, week days, weekends and holidays

Current valid Driver's license required with good insurable driving record.

Light manufacturing and/or warehouse experience preferred

Ability to walk long distances at a brisk pace

Ability to pass Federal Criminal Background Investigation

Willingness and ability to meet all job functions as outlined above and as given to support business needs

Must be able to stand for 7 to 8 hours per shift, walk, bend and reach without strain, climb on a step stool or ladder, lift up to 50 lbs. or more, ability to travel from store to office, store room, rest rooms, restaurants and parking

Minimal travel between locations may be required
