Description: Smog check and auto care facility in Redlands, CA is currently looking for two licensed Smog Technicians to join our customer oriented team. We are looking for individuals with two years of experience. CA smog license, with score higher than .40, is REQUIRED. We offer highly competitive compensation and benefits.

RequirementsQualifications for the Smog Test Technician Position:
--CA smog license, with score higher than .40, is REQUIRED
--Minimum two years of experience
--ASE Certification is PREFERRED
--Valid Driver's license and good driving record
--High school diploma or GED required
--At least 18 years of age required
--Customer service oriented attitude
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
--Perform emissions services in accordance with State laws and regulations.
--Train and be certified to perform auto care services as part of our customer–focused work team.
--Follow work area cleanliness standards and safety rules/procedures in accordance with OSHA and state regulations
--Valid California driver’s license
Physical Requirements:
--Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
--Must have full body mobility: twisting, turning, and working for extensive periods of time with hands above the head
--Must be able to stoop four times per vehicle up to six to ten times per hour of work
--Must be able to stand for extended periods of time each shift worked
--Must be able to climb stairs
--Must be able to use a computer
Working Conditions:
Work is done in service bay environment in all types of weather. Safety is a prime concern due to the constant traffic movement and potentially hazardous environment. You must be alert, move safely around moving vehicles, and use caution when performing emission test.
