**Job Summary**

This position will work for Hunt Construction Group in West Lafayette, Indiana on the Purdue Football project during the 12 week internship program\.

Operating under moderate supervision, the Intern delivers project activities requiring varied interpersonal and construction skills\. The intern will assist the MEP department and engineers with various tasks where needed\. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Assist in the solicitation of proposals and selection of specialty contractors\.

* Time and accurate interpretation of design documents to facilitate problem solutions\.

* Research and recommend solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences and errors/omissions\.

* Perform additional duties and assignments as assumed or directed by supervision\.

**Minimum Requirements**

+ Available to work 12 consecutive weeks from May 2016 \- August 2016

+ Available to travel to Indianapolis, IN for a 5 day 4 night Orientation ProgramJune 6 \-10, 2016

+ Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in construction management, building technology, mechanical/electrical engineering or similar major

+ Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion

+ Ability to learn new technologies and concepts

+ Demonstrated leadership abilities

+ A high level of interest with MEP systems relating to construction

+ Eagerness to learn and positive attitude
