Providence is calling a per diem, day shift Registered Nurse to our Surgery Department at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA.
In this position you will:
Prepare operating rooms for surgery, using appropriate techniques
Interpret policies, procedures, standards, and regulations as appropriate
Demonstrate proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics)
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
1 year OR / Perioperative experience in an acute care setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Able to circulate in all services including trauma, heart, and other specialties
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
