Providence is calling per diem Monitor Technician to Providence Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA.

In this position you will:

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, with direction from the unit charge nurse, this position is responsible for providing patient cardiac monitoring and overall clerical support and services to meet the specific needs of the assigned unit, providing high quality service to patients, physicians and staff

Required qualifications for this position:

Successful completion of a course in EKG and its clinical implications

Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing

Data entry computer skills

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

At least 1 year of experience in acute care setting

Knowledge of medical terminology
