POSITION SUMMARY
Prefer candidates to reside in PA -- telework future potential. Philadelphia/DE/SNJ preferred
Develop a strategic relationship with assigned clients, align Aetnas strategy with client objectives. Achieve membership growth and revenue targets for assigned accounts.
Fundamental Components:
-Communicates with customer benefits staff and packages messages to effectively engage the client and demonstrate the Aetna value proposition.
-Executes tactical components of the account teams business plan for each customer
-Consistently monitors product lines and services to ensure customer needs are met.
-Seeks to optimize customer interaction and provides recommendations based on customer needs
-Collaborates cross-functionally to identify, implement and monitor the customers service efficiencies, including performance guarantees Follows through on outstanding issues, by collaborating with other functional areas, including claims and customer service areas, to resolution
-Collaborates with team members on case installation to manage the integration of clients and Aetnas internal organizations, ensuring a smooth installation
-Manage the communication and notification of process or network changes and articulate the specific impact for assigned customers
-Supports the implementation and utilization of service efficiencies including auto-adjudication, Aetna Voice Advantage and Navigator Supports the customers overall profitability objectives and helps with the financial management objectives
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Medical, Dental, Pharmacy & Behavioral Health product knowledge, risk and financial analysis skills, an understanding of sales and marketing processes, and knowledge of administrative operations are all expected for this position. The successful candidate should have proven financial aptitude. Strong selling, negotiation and presentation skills required.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Insurance/Life and Health Insurance License is required. If not current, must obtain within 90 days of hire.
