This position manages day-to-day rentals and assists GM in association/owner operations. Act as liaison between Wyndham Vacation Rentals and owners/renters. Direction as to the specific allocation of tasks is determined by the General Manager

Responsible for the efficient and professional operation of the property in coordination with the General Manager; assumes full responsibility in the absence of the General Manager.

Act as liaison between the owners/renters and the management company, and liaison between the owners/renters and any Association Board of Directors. Supervise the overall rental program. Oversees the Guest Services function and may oversee the Reservations department.

Provide guidance and direction in the administration of the rental program, housekeeping and laundry functions. Ensure that association/owner records are maintained in accordance with policies and directives. May publish periodic newsletters.

Participate in forecasting efforts to ensure maximum occupancy and average rates and drive operational efficiencies to ensure profitability.

Monitor actual expenditures and prepare financial data needed for monthly financial statements. Perform other accounting functions such as, but not limited to, collecting assessments and rent paying association bills and reconciling monthly bank statements.

Assist the GM in developing, coordinating, and administering the implementation of all major contracts with the contractor, Wyndham Vacation Rentals, and owners/Board of Directors. Take prompt action to reduce down time when emergency repairs are required.

Responsible for the accuracy of all employees' personnel and payroll records. Responsible for ensuring that all personnel policies and procedures are adhered to at all times. Monitor safety practices in each department as well as number and type of accidents occurring on the property.

Ensure proper maintenance of property management system (on-site), and inventories.

Education:

High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree in Business or related field strongly preferred

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience in vacation rental management, hospitality management or related field, with at least 3 years of supervisory/management experience. Must have strong hands-on experience in operations, sales and marketing and financial management.
