About this job
Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis. May prick finger to draw blood. May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Reports to the Phlebotomy Supervisor.Requires a high school diploma and/or certification by a nationally recognized body. At least one year of experience and willing to work any shift as needed. Active CPR certification required.
