Civil Designer

Aerotek is looking for a civil designer. They will be working under the direction of a Project Manager and will be designing private commercial developments, healthcare facilities, higher education buildings and out parcel site design. Responsibilities will include producing construction documents and the associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.

The candidate should be proficient in grading, underground storm water storage systems, wet detention ponds, permeable pavement systems, erosion control, sewage collection systems and horizontal/ vertical roadway designs. Typical projects will involve site/civil design for residential, commercial and industrial site development.

For the most part the designer will work independently on projects but will collaborate on the larger projects with a partner.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• 2-5 years of experience
• EIT is strongly preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D is a plus
• Experience with Water CAD and Storm CAD is a plus
