We currently have an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Biller in the Mineola, NY area!
Monday – Friday, 1st shift hours
Requirements:
- Associates Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- MUST have surgical office experience.
- Experience with CPT & ICD-9 ICD-10 coding, medical terminology and a strong knowledge of modifiers.
- Billing for all commercial insurance, Medicaid, No Fault, Workers Comp, and Emergency Room billing.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience; experience with NexTech a plus.
- Certified Professional Coder preferred.
- Ability to code from an operative report.
Salary is contingent upon experience. $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
