Production Assistant - Full-time / Part-time

The candidate will be required to learn production related tasks as he or she will be used as a back up machine operator when operators from either of the shifts are absent. This task requires fork lift driver ability. This position also is involved in insuring the correct protocol is followed when shipping or receiving products and materials to and from the facility. There is production and warehousing paperwork that must be reviewed and data entry that must take place with each transaction and processing of products. This position is also a back up for the office assistant position who solely works in the office also processing production and various other documents relevant to the operation in this plant. Product and materials inventorying is inventoried weekly and ordered as needed. Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. repeatedly is a must. Bilingual is a plus.
