MAJOR DUTIES OF POSITION:

Responsibilities include comprehensive management of multiple clinical research protocols for institutional, pharmaceutical, and national cooperative group studies. Incumbent will oversee operational aspects and manage patient care while on trial. This will include: the informed consent process, eligibility and screening, toxicity assessments, conducting in-services for nursing staff participating in patients treatments; scheduling patient visits; logistics of obtaining and coordinating clinical samples; enlistment of support of necessary ancillary departments; collecting source documentation; preparation and participation in monitoring visits; facilitating pre-site meetings and site initiation meetings, and planning, organizing, and running protocol start-up meetings.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Oncology or CNS experience.
