Responsibilities:

Our Parks and Destinations group specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions. The scope of our operations includes operating lodging, conference and meeting space, houseboats and other marine activities, retail merchandise shops, fine dining restaurants, and interpretive tours in some of this country's most pristine protected lands and national parks. We have been active partners with the National Park Service and various zoos, aquariums, and other cultural attractions for over 20 years, providing high-quality visitor services in numerous locations across the United States in over 12 states. We are currently seeking a Seasonal Restaurant Manager.

Oversee operations Supervision of 2 supervisors and a team of 20 +. Customer service training & delivery, flexibility, work closely with chefs, financial accumen, understanding of client and partner relations. Provides timely and accurate financial information to the General Manager and Stakeholders Manages Restaurant budget Collaborate with the Executive Chef & Culinary partner in the development, implementation, and execution of seasonal menu changes Manages and delivers procedures and methods to ensure that quality standards are met and maintained Builds, develops and manages Restaurant & Cafe team capable of carrying out needed F&B/Culinary initiatives Ensures compliance of corporate and state mandates, to include cost and productivity, and employee relations Ensures that requirements for appropriate sanitation and safety levels in respective areas are met. Directly supervises two or more employees with responsibility for recruitment, corrective counseling, performance reviews and initiating pay increases. Conducts period inventory; performs other functions such as maintaining records to comply with Aramark government and accrediting agency standards. Coordinates activities with other internal departments. Participates in management team meetings. Interfaces with Vendors and key service users within client organization. Assists in location forecast and accounting.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree is preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years food service management experience is required. 2 years' experience managing Supervisors who engage in Guest/Customer and Client relations Ability to manage in a fast-paced, diverse environment with focus on client and customer services, entrepreneurship and building and growing a strong business is essential. P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable. Union experience preferred Candidate must be willing to be hands on with staff and operations and be willing to work event-based hours that include evenings and weekends.
