This position is responsible for troubleshooting and making necessary repairs to assigned Kum & Go stores in a geographic area on a wide range of trades, which include: Petroleum, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry and equipment repair. This position will perform preventative maintenance tasks on an assigned group of Kum & Go stores on a pre-determined basis. This position will also support the activities of the Facilities department, perform special projects as needed, and maintain the company vehicle and inventory. This position requires daily travel and may require overnight stays.

Principal Functions of the Job
  • Provides troubleshooting and necessary repairs to assigned store locations. Maintenance in a variety of trades, including petroleum, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, and equipment repair.
  • Record Keeping-completing job card, invoices, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) request. Assigned Task-Responding to auto dispatching out of CMMS, interpret task and makes decisions based upon request.
  • Responsible for special project work, record keeping, material replenishment, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Training and Development-onsite training as needed in the SSC
  • Preventative Maintenance-maintains company vehicle to standard
  • Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Kum & Go management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.


Specific qualifications & experiences include:
  • High School Diploma with 2 years of practical experience in a related field or 2 years of experience in Kum & Go store management.
  • Associate’s Degree or Industrial Maintenance certificate preferred.
  • Good critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Good organization skills and decision making abilities
  • General computer skills to include web based application understanding and basic Microsoft knowledge
  • Ability to obtain Class A certificate for Underground Storage Tank (UST)
