About this job
As a Shipping Clerk you will be a key member of our fulfillment department within our Pharmacy Dispensing Facility. Your goal, as a Shipping Clerk, is to maximize efficiency and productivity in the packing area to ensure patient orders are accurately getting shipped.
Responsibilities:
- To assist the pharmacists in the Quality Control area
- Assemble and package customer orders for shipment
- Prepare medication orders for shipment with the appropriate carrier
- Assist with stocking supplies and other tasks associated with the department
- Work Independently and as a member of a team
This position will have a set schedule of 1:45pm- 10:15pm. Monday-Friday.
Required Qualifications 1. Physical ability to package medications in a safe and organized manner.
2. Analytical ability to ship from the manifest station in the most cost effective manner.
3. Attention to details to ensure patients are receiving correct order and materials.
4. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
5. Three months experience working on a computer.
Preferred Qualifications 1. Experience in a shipping or receiving environment preferred
2. Experience in a medical or pharmaceutical environment
Education Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
Clinical Licensure Required N/A
