PRN Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Care Therapist/Technician provides respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients of all ages from the premature infant to the elderly adult. This caregiver sets up, operates and maintains RT equipment, performs detailed respiratory assessments, provides pulmonary inhalation treatments, evaluates patient response and communicates with other members of the health care team. An important aspect of this position is the evaluation of patient/family learning needs and devising a strategy to provide and document the necessary teaching.
