Enjoy working outdoors? Food Cart Attendants help our guests quench their thirst and grab a bite to eat by filling food and beverage orders at one of our resort’s outdoor food carts.
Food Cart Attendants at Universal Orlando are responsible for:
Operates cash register. Accepts cash and credit cards, verifies and certifies starting cash bank and balances out at end of shift.
Advises lead cashier on need for cash pick-ups and complete change requests.
Assisting in restocking and maintaining the service area.
Upholding our guest service standards by providing positive interactions with our guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
Greets guests, suggestively sells and fills guest orders for food and beverage in a positive, friendly, and outgoing manner.
Maintains a clean, sanitized food service area by following established procedures.
Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Universal Orlando policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities.
Performing other duties as assigned.
To perform the role of a Food Cart Attendant successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Consistent attendance and punctuality is required.
High school degree or GED is preferred.
Six months to one year Food and Beverage experience preferred, but not required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to stand, walk, talk or hear, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
The individual is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
The individual must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
