About this job

Candidates will provide frequency management analysis, investigation, and support for Spectrum Dependent Systems for Agency Applications.
This includes:
*Research, analyze and respond to frequency assignment applications submitted by other government/non-government agencies for compatibility and compliance with allotment plans and current and projected operations.
*Perform quality assurance checks for assigned proposals via an Agency Spectrum XXI account daily and take appropriate action, per agency Standard Operating Procedures, to facilitate the approval of the proposal.
*Provide subject matter expertise in obtaining and coordinating federal spectrum assignments in support of: next generation and experimental IFF and radar systems; Link 16 systems; the high altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) program; Electronic Attack (EA), Global Positioning System Electronic Attack (GPS EA); and Chaff operations.

Qualified Candidates will have the following:

A graduate of a spectrum management course such as, the Army's Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager SLC, Interservice Radio Frequency Management School, or Apprentice Spectrum Operations Course or equivalent DoD spectrum management experience

A minimum of ten (10) combined years of experience directly related to the field of radio frequency spectrum management

A minimum of two (2) years working frequency assignments in a federal level spectrum management office
