Plumber

Aerotek is currently hiring for Commercial plumbers in the Tallahassee, FL area.

The plumbers will be working on an existing building performing renovation. The project scope of work is renovaton and addition a large facility. The job site is 100% unoccupied.

All plumbers will be working on site.
Must have:
-New construction and renocation experience in large commercial construction.
-Experience with domestic water & sanitary
-Installing fixtures, hangers and pipe
-Minimum 3 years' experience
-Must have basic hand tools
-experience working with pvc, copper and cast iron-Must be able to solder copper
-Cast iron 10", pvc 10", copper 4"
Ability to install, repair pipes, fittings or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes.
-Measure, cut, thread or bend pipe to required angle using pipe cutters, hand or power tools, pipe-threading machine or pipe-bending machine.
-Study building plans and inspect structures to assess materials and equipment needs to establish the sequence of pipe installations and to plan instalation.
-Locate and markthe position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers or levels
-Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe presure gauges to detect and locate leaks
-Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking or soldering, brazing or welding equipment.
-Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, sinks and toilets.
-Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components
-Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes or pipe fittings
-Review blue prints, building codes, or specifications to determine correct work procedure
-Install underground storm, sanitary, or water piping systems, extending piping as needed to connect fixtures and plumbing.
-Maintain or repair plumbing by replacing defective washers, replacing or mending broken pipes, or opening clogged drains.
-Anchor steel supports from ceiling joists to hold pipes in place
-Install oxygen and medical gas in hospitals
-Install green plumbing equipment such as faucet flow restrictors, dual-flush or pressure-assisted flush toilets, or tankless hot water heaters
