The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining the production equipment in the facility. You would be responsible for maintaining and enhancing equipment to meet production and quality and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoots motor control circuits, drives and PLC systems
-Performs routine PM's, repairs, rebuilds and modifies equipment assigned and to include electrically controlled equipment
-Completes necessary paperwork
-Performs upgrades and/or changes to equipment if needed
-Suggest ways to make production more efficient
-Maintains a high level of safety awareness and reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions
-Follow policies and procedures as well as GMP's
-Other duties as assigned

Requirements
-High School diploma or equivalent and/or trade school
-2 year technical degree in electricity or electronics
-Min. 2 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferably food or medical
-GMP experience a plus
-Bi-lingual in English/Spanish a plus
-Previous experience with troubleshooting with PLC's preferably Allen Bradley
-Ability to work overtime
-Ability to read, write and understand English
-Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, fractions and decimals
-Ability to stand duration of shift
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. or move 100 with lifting equipment or assistance
