Summary:
The Senior Applications Support Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving common and escalated service requests pertaining to assigned products; escalate service requests to next level of support as necessary for assigned applications; make sensitive customer impacting decisions based on available information; establish familiarity with all departmental procedures; evaluate customer operations and recommend development of new product features, ensuring continuous quality and customer service; assist in all phases of new customer application development, testing and implementation as required.

Requirements

Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree (B.S) from an accredited College or University with four to five years’ experience in supporting or implementing new software applications. • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio and creating custom macros using VBA. • Experience with Microsoft SQL Management Studio and SSIS required. • Experience writing and evaluating advanced T-SQL. • Experience with ERP and CRM systems. • Must have experience with UltiPro and Cognos • Strong computer skills. • Expert understanding of computer operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. • Excellent communication skills both oral and written a must. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and customers. • Excellent overall analytical skills. • Display a sense of urgency. • Thrives in a challenging yet rewarding work environment. • Ability to perform set on instructions properly the first time.
