SUMMARY

This position provides healthcare professionals and field representatives with order entry support and inventory management. It combines customer service skills with accounting (Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adherence to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.

  • Receives transactions from users regarding customer service or technical support related needs based upon the scope of support provided by contract to Sykes' clients.

  • Determines appropriate action to be taken on customer's behalf, which may include problem determination and appropriate next steps. Informs customer of those appropriate next steps and works with customer to achieve issue resolution.

  • Maintains proficiency in programs, products and/or platforms assigned.

  • Maintains pertinent paperwork and records through research.

  • Communicates with co-workers to research problems and find solutions.

  • May test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work.

  • Communicates with team manager, team members and other teams regarding problems, solutions and trends.

  • Responsible for meeting established individual and team performance targets, which include customer service, productivity and quality standards.

  • May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma

  • Post secondary education or relevent work experience preferred

  • 3+ Years experience in customer service

  • Professional or educational healthcare background
  • Accounting (Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable)


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Outstanding oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong computer skills

  • Expert in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table & V-Lookup)

  • Expert in Microsoft Outlook

  • Strong evaluation and analysis skills

  • Excellent attention to details

  • Team Player

  • 2+ Years experience in Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable (Required for our Accounting positions)

  • Expert in Dealing with a Ledger (Required for our AR positions)
  • Background in Accounting (Preferred)


COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to professionally communicate with healthcare providers and field sales representatives verbally and electronically. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
