Job Summary The primary function of this position is to develop and implement reliable, capable processes in order to manufacture competitive, high-quality products.


Job Duties

* Develop and optimize reliable manufacturing processes to ensure new and existing products meet all quality specfications, production rate requirements, and customer expectations.
* Review product drawings, process flow charts, design and risk assessment data for accuracy and feasibility.
* Assist and support program management in the introduction and integration of new products.
* Identify, investigate, and assist in resolving problems and eliminating defects and waste.
* Act as customer liaison and respond to customer needs in a diplomatic and professional manner.
* Assist with general engineering requirements relating to production and maintenance, and support all corporate engineering activities and R & D efforts.
* Stay abreast of new technology and techniques to maximize effectiveness of company resources.
* Prepare all required reports and provide information as requested to management.
* Assist in developing justifications required for preparation of Capital Investment Projects.
* Assist with special projects as assigned.
* Support all efforts to ensure that QS9000 requirements are met and maintained.
* Support all efforts to ensure compliance with the environmental policy and procedures.

Education, Experience, Skill, Knowledge and Ability Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering. A minimum of five years' engineering experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. Must have knowledge and understanding of plant engineering processes, good communication skills and capability of operating PC's and related software.
