Home Instead Senior Care is looking for professional, caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
Current CAREGiver opportunities:
* Monday-Friday early am, daytime, evening hours & awake overnight hours
(2 to 12 hour shifts)
* Saturday & Sunday early am, day, evening & awake overnight hours
(2 to 12 hour shifts)
CAREGiver duties include, but are not limited to:
Work in and near your own neighborhoods - Bloomington, Eden Prairie, Edina, Richfield and South Minneapolis.

- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Incidental Transportation
- Assistance with grooming and bathing
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence cares
- Assistance with ambulation
- Dementia and Alzheimer’s Care
*Personal or Professional experience is preferred - skills training provided*
Requirements to be a CAREGiver: - Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen
- Hold valid MN driver’s license, own vehicle with valid auto insurance
- Possess fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 80 lbs. infrequently
