We are always looking to add to our CAREGiver team.  Whether you are interested in working as a Companion or you are a certified HHA or PCA we look forward to hearing from you.  We have weekday and weekend day, evening shifts as well as overnight and live-in cases available.
 
Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide

New York State certified Home Health Aides and Personal Care Aides are needed to assist clients who
need an additional level of care, including personal care.  Your duties may include:

  • Assistance with bathing
  • Grooming and dressing
  • Toileting and incontinence assistance and care
  • Mobility and assistance with transfers
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Medication reminders
  • Specialized Alzheimer's caregiving

Requirements to be a Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide with Home Instead Senior Care
To meet our high standards, you must have and/or be willing and able to:

  • Valid New York State HHA or PCA certificate
  • Treat and care for seniors and their family members with compassion, dignity and respect
  • Communicate in a friendly and cheerful manner
  • Drug screen

Medical Requirements include:

  • Two (2) separate PPD’s, a Chest X-ray report, or a blood test confirming TB immunity status
  • MR Labs
  • Up to date physical-within 12 months

Compensation: Up to $13/hour
