Sodexo is seeking a Housekeeping Manager of Environmental Services 2 at Vidant Medical Center, a 850 bed union facility located in Greenville, NC. It is located one hour outside of Raleigh, NC. It is in close proximity with East Carolina University . This is a high profile system that focuses on top quality, patient care and patient satisfaction. This position is currently scheduled as a 1st shift opportunity with the need to be flexible to cover other shifts at times, along with working rotating weekends. This is a non-union account.
This job will be responsible for the supervision of approximately 193 FTE's, training, and quality assurance in a fast pace healthcare setting and manages 1.6 mill net cleanable space in a non-union environment. The ideal candidate will have previous Environmental Services Management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting along with excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks. The candidate must have strong leadership experience as well as relationship-building skills. A background in housekeeping or EVS environment is important. The Custodial Manager will be required to participate in a rotational schedule involving rotating weekends and holidays.
